The quilt arrived safely. The person loves it. So here is a picture of the front of the quilt.
A blog about my life, my fiber arts and pictures of my finished work. I will also throw in the very occasional recipe or shopping tip.

A Quilt
The quilt is done. I am getting it ready to send the birtday gift out in tommrows post. I will only post the back of the quilt until it is received by the birthday person. It looks a little like a Tetrus Game to me.

Quilt Layout
I have gotten to the quilt lay out stage of the Taglit Memory Quilt. This is being made from 4 Taglit sweatshirts. This will be the center piece of the Annual Taglit Fundraiser on November 11, 2016. I will have the measurements after I finish the sewing. This will be my first Shabby Chic Quilt. I will get together with my team to figure out the pricing.

Amish Shadows
The quilt is fiannly back on the wall after the remodel. I made this quilt in December of 1987. Even after a professional cleaning, I have been told by a reliable source that the quilt has lost that new quilt look. Not bad for an almost 30 year old quilt. Yes that is a Tucson made Bens Bell hanging from the side.
